I dont journal every day, but I jot every day, four or five words. You want to grow in an area of choice and you want to grow in an area of skill, so thats two. Yeah, okay, thats good. And so Im just coming off of that, which means Im buzzing. Well, I think that the longer that I have lived and the more that I lead, it literally, to this day, even if I think about leading in a new dimension of ownership, theres really this appreciation to change that comes when you weather, when you sustain yourself through changes and you see the great results that happened because people willing to change. Now, let me tell you the secret on this because Im now talking about writing, Im talking about maybe journaling a little bit. Lets go backwards a little bit. And so Ill be honest with you, I learned at an early age to publicly like what I personally hated, or personally lamented. Remember making that statement. And I can guarantee you this, 100% of the lets call it goals, or 100% of the New Years resolutions that dont get set will be unmet. The assumption gap just basically says, I assume that Ill grow automatically. You see, most people that live by assumption. In fact, he listened to the podcast How to Handle Resistance. And so I dont think I naturally was that way growing up, cause I remember posing, but I think the older that Ive gotten, the more that Ive seen in seasons how change makes a difference, theres a greater appreciation, and I may even say anticipation, for changes that need to happen in a person and therefore in an organization. What are you doing to ensure growth in your life, to ensure change that will lead to growth? I think theres a lot of different definitions. I really wanted to do this one, Chris, because you get a shout-out here. John says, The only way its going to get better is well, is if we grow.. He did it because there was a decision you made a long time ago that were going to focus on growth as much as athletics. The problem is we have what I call growth gaps.
